High Standards at the 2012 Open Afternoon

Following my spot-on weather forecast for 27th May 2012, twenty-two cars complete with delightfully dressed ladies and summer clad men enjoyed a superb, sunny afternoon at the Bird in Hand.

It is an ever increasing source of amazement to me that the standard of the cars gets better and better each year. Looking at one or more examples yesterday, I have to say that I was simply riveted to the spot as my mind explored its vocabulary of superlatives. Some photographs below admirably illustrate these high standards.

Thank you all for turning up. I really do hope that you enjoyed the simple event as much as I did.  This morning my conscience is tormenting me yet again in that I realise that I did not manage to get around and speak to everybody.  As my old geography teacher said frequently . . . Angus – Must try harder.

Our 2013 Open Afternoon will be from noon onwards on Sunday, 26th May. At the Bird in Hand of course. (There will not be a Friday evening BurbleNat in May)
The Bird in Hand is on the B1113 at Wreningham, 9 miles south-west of Norwich, on the corner of Church Road, postcode NR16 1BJ.
